Who is Joe?

Joe has multiple years of teaching experience in the elementary classroom as a credentialed teacher in California. He also taught every grade as a substitute before that. Joe loved teaching, however, he felt his most effective and rewarding work was done while working one-on-one or in small groups with students. Joe has received a B.A. and Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential. He has B.A.S. and A.A. degrees too. He has passed the California teaching tests (CBEST, CSET, RICA, TPA). He is also an Eagle Scout and expert quesadilla maker.

When not working on educational things Joe can be found making music, enjoying good food, and spending time with his people and pets.

So who is Mr. Toodles?

Mr. Toodles is a silly character that Joe came up with some time around 2003/2004. He remained a silly doodle who sometimes appeared in his own comics. Eventually Mr. Toodles became a sort of signature that Joe had been somewhere and appeared on many college papers.

When Joe became a teacher he knew Mr. Toodles could be a great asset in the elementary classroom. Joe's classroom management system revolved around Mr. Toodles and the students absolutely loved him. Mr. Toodles remained an invaluable asset in the classroom. Mr. Toodles helped heal children emotionally, he brought out the best in them, and helped them feel confident in themselves. Joe would not have been as effective without    Mr. Toodles.
